Burr Walnut Double Vanity in Kent
A substantial double vanity in bookmatched burr walnut, united by carved column dividers and supported on hand-turned legs.
The commission
Two basins, one composition.
This made-to-measure vanity was conceived as the centrepiece of a generous master bathroom. The paired cabinet forms provide individual storage while the continuous top, repeated curves and central carved details make the installation feel architecturally complete.
Designed for the room
Symmetry without repetition.
Each side has its own carefully composed veneer pattern, with the two halves balanced across the centre line. Serpentine fronts soften the scale of the double cabinet and turned legs give the piece the poise of freestanding furniture.
In detail
Made as an heirloom piece.
Burr walnut brings depth and variation across every surface. Accurate bookmatching, carved column dividers and shaped edges make the natural material the focus while drawers provide everyday bathroom storage.
