A complete living-room wall, designed as one composition.

The brief was for elegant wall furniture that could frame a large television, provide display shelving and add useful concealed storage. A spray-painted outer structure brings a classical character, while American walnut back panels and shelves add warmth and depth.

Walnut back panels create a rich backdrop for books and collected objects. Thick shelves carry the same natural grain, contrasting with the smooth spray-painted framework and helping the substantial fitted wall feel layered rather than heavy.

Architectural detail

Classical columns frame practical storage.

Panelled cupboards run beneath the television and display bays, keeping everyday living-room items out of sight. Pilaster-style columns at both ends and a stepped cornice give the installation a composed, furniture-like presence.
