Finding the perfect dining table for a London home is a delicate balance between generous seating and an effortless flow through the room.
Commissioned for a beautifully restored Victorian townhouse in Richmond, South-West London, this contemporary round pedestal table was engineered precisely for that architectural challenge. Crafted in our Elsenham workshop, it transforms a compact dining room or open-plan kitchen into a calm, sophisticated focal point without dominating the space.

A study in contemporary proportion.
Quiet in character and architectural in silhouette, the table moves away from a heavy four-leg structure in favour of a refined form that feels light and unobtrusive.
The fine gilt line
A delicate gilt line separates pedestal and top, catching the natural light and bringing a restrained note of luxury to the composition.
The generous top
Crafted from premium solid timber, the circular surface has no head and no corners, making conversation natural and every place equal.

In boroughs such as Richmond, Chelsea and Islington, dining areas are often integrated into open-plan kitchens or nestled within historically smaller rooms. Eliminating the corners of a rectangular table improves traffic flow immediately, while the central pedestal removes awkward table legs, maximises legroom and allows chairs to tuck neatly away.
