View all 6 questions
01Do you design and install bespoke wall panelling across London?

Yes. Markou Design surveys, designs, makes and installs bespoke wall panelling throughout London, including Central London and Westminster, as well as Hertfordshire and Essex.

02Can wall panelling include practical hallway storage?

Yes. Wall panelling can incorporate coat hooks, concealed storage, doors and other functional details so a hallway gains useful hanging space without visual clutter.

03Which materials can be used for wall panelling?

Options include natural timber veneers, solid timber details and high-grade MDF for painted finishes. Material selection depends on the interior, required durability and design intent.

04Can bespoke panelling be fitted around existing doors and skirting?

Yes. Each room is surveyed so panels, door surrounds, skirting and junctions can be resolved as one made-to-measure architectural composition.

05How is bespoke wall panelling made?

After a measured survey and design approval, we design and create the panels in our Elsenham joinery workshop, then deliver them ready to install. Our Chelsea project includes a workshop photograph showing a corner panel assembly before fitting.

06Can you work in occupied Central London flats?

Yes. We plan access, manufacture and installation around the requirements of London apartments and complete the work with careful protection of the surrounding interior.
